sounds like a soccer World Cup final. France and Australia play for 3rd place, the US and Poland for 7th place.
BTW, I read that this was the first time in the history of the tournament that none of the 3 most historically successful countries — the US, Serbia/Yugoslavia, and Russia/USSR — made it to the semifinals.
