Approach on the D is 38 with a departure of 44, the FJ is 34 and 31.
Factory suspension flex is 11", with crosslinked air you won't miss the solid axles on 99% of the trails.
Now while this is nowhere near as rugged or modifiable as the original D, but under that bling is a solid platform that I'm willing to bet could tackle Golden Spike stock, maybe Moab Rim..
