Maybe recency bias is a real thing. I don't remember Lavell beating 2 "name"
teams back to back. Both Tennessee and USC have won national championships of course. SEC and Pac10 wins. I'm not going to take the time to go back and research whether it happened or how often it happened but Lavells teams as good as they were often struggled bigger conference teams.
I really don't know that there's been a better two week in terms of beating recognized, national name brand opponents?

I had to go all the way back to 1990 when BYU beat two P5 teams back-to-back (Miami & Washington St)
