The betting line was USC by 4. I would say objective types expected a close game

and recognized that BYU had a good chance to win. And weren’t really too surprised by the win.

The only ones who thought BYU had no chance were biased types: cynical BYU fans who suffer from ute derangement syndrome, goggle-wearing USC fans, utes, etc.
