It's because you live in Utah and the networks decided a few decades

ago that Utahns must be Broncos fans because Denver is on the other side of the mountains from Utah, or something. Unfortunately, plenty of Utahns felt that was a good enough reason to become Broncos fans and the numbers back up the decision now. Although, the numbers show the Broncos have a small plurality of fans, and is nowhere near a majority. I bet if CBS and Fox were to pick a different team for Utah, that team would overtake the Broncos in a few years.
