Optometry: helping people to see better. They nearly always
appreciate it . . . . 99.9% of the time.
It's fun to have patients come in with poor vision and have them leave happy with clear vision.
Immediate positive feedback for the optometrist.

If you interact directly with people much, try to enjoy the people part of it. Helping people to be satisfied with what you do for them. But, maybe you don't have an I.T. job where there's much interaction.
