You are right to each their own. I do have to disagree however on his analysis.
I find his analysis to be in the same accuracy range of a weather person’s forecast. I would like to be right 40% of the time and keep my job.

Playing pick-up games or playing intramural sports seems to be the total of his sports knowledge.

Examples: His analysis today was just weird, saying the way BYU played in the first three weeks, basically does not bode well for some future games... as a former player and experiencing similar results in my career, these types of games brought us together as a team. Seeing what we had accomplished against good competition drove us all season against strong and weak opponents. Versus, saying well we struggled against descent teams, so I guess we will struggle with the rest of the schedule... I am not saying BYU will go undefeated the rest of the way. But his thought process was weird and amateurish.

Or, citing how bad BYU’s basketball schedule is with the location of the two byes. When in fact they are at good times. Coach Pope commented on how he liked the schedule. The team could rest follow non-conference and again late in the season, allowing the team to rest prior to the tournament.

His interviews are horrible. His laugh is totally annoying!

With several others available, I would hope that he would be replaced. Lauren, Jason, and Brian are in a higher league. Their interviews are informative and show knowledge of the sport.

One last thought with Jarom’s fear of playing competition: which P5 schools would he have had Tom remove from this year’s schedule? Utah - no, Tennessee - probably, USC - probably or Washington - not likely with the ties in previous schedules. So no wins to show over a SEC school and a PAC 10 1/2 school.
