Wasn't surprised at all about the game-plan from BYU. Said they expected them to bring 3 and drop 8 and that's what they did almost every down. Gave credit to BYU for coming up with key stops.

I think the difference in the USC and Utah games were essentially Andy Ludwig & Huntley having more discipline to take what the defense was giving them, and the offensive success against USC giving energy to the defense to get off the field. I could see the Utah game having a similar outcome, even if we still lost, if we could have avoided a few mistakes early on offense and gotten into a rhythm.

Tuiaki has improved in terms of getting the right players on the field and in the right positions... still not sold on the fairly cautious style. With beasts like Tonga it works. Worried about UW... Chris Peterson is way more seasoned than USCs coaches and way more familiar with our squad.
