Nobody wants to sign with a school when you don't know who will be coaching when you show up. Kids pick schools where they think they will make an impact (aka... play). Coaching changes have a HUGE impact on that. Austin Kafentzis is a great example of that... Gary Anderson @ Wisconson made him a TON of promises. Paul Chryst buried him on the depth chart.

With BYU and kids going on missions... Stability is even more important. No kid wants to hear the coaching staff changed while they are out serving for 2 years.
