He thinks jake is a better radio personality even though he may have lost that particular qb competition way back when vs Riley nelson. Groz is kind of a jerk, that’s his schtick. At first I thought he was joking but he kind of held onto it a little as the broadcast closed. But that says more about groz than how Riley did. I listen to them all the time. He complains about EVERYTHING. Kind of negative dude.
Riley was very diplomatic about questions about that qb competition and Riley’s win over the huskies. He was great and had a lot of good points. I think maybe they wanted him to play around a bit more and maybe say something that would maybe get under jakes skin so they could joke about it, but riley wasn’t going there or taking any bait and was very complimentary about jake and UW.
