We've all complained, and rightfully so, about running the same play out of the same formation on 4th and 1 in the 4th quarter after USC had had a look and play had been stopped. But until I was just watching a replay a few minutes ago, I didn't realize that USC did the same thing right before the game-ending INT. They were lined up on 3rd down, play clock was winding down, and they had just snapped the ball before the refs blew the whistle for a timeout. After the timeout, they lined up the same way and the inside receiver ran the same route as he had done before the timeout/whistle, which may have been what allowed Chaz Ah You to get a jump on him.
