Offense:
Lots of WR/RB action on the edge. Bubble screens, hitches, flats. They did this last year and they did it against Hawaii. They have a ton of speed at WR and will be more disciplined in staying out of the shallow middle than USC.
4 vertical against our cover 3. Tenessee had this all game but didn't connect very often. Boise always kills us with this going back to the Peterson days. Eason definitely has the arm for it.
Commitment to the run. I don't expect a Moss-like performance from any of their backs, but they won't try and fit a square peg in a round hole like Graham Harrell tried.
I expect a Utah-like game plan but this O has more firepower overall. Biggest challenge yet for BYU's defense.
Defense:
Dedicated defender on Zach to take away the QB run and to bring the delayed blitz (to take away his creative scramble plays).
Wide pressure on the edges to take away the reverse and fly-sweep action that we've shown.
I don't expect them to respect the deep threat. They'll commit to stopping the run and will dare our TE and WRs in 1/1 matchups downfield.
