didn't even rain much during the game as the clouds emptied themselves during the 2 1/2 hour lightning delay. You could probably make the excuse that the game was happening between 10:30 pm and 1:30 am but I never heard that excuse come from anybody in the UW camp. I think they were just out-schemed and outplayed by a Cal team that did the exact same thing to them last year.

They had some uncharacteristic mistakes such as the dropped passes as well as allowing Cal to convert long 3rd downs with QB scrambles or passes to running backs, but other than that it was purely being outplayed. Evan Weaver is the best linebacker I've seen this year and Cal's defense is legit. Their offense, however, is not as good as the Husky defense made them look on that night.
