I ever had left one of my eyeballs motionless for maybe 15 seconds. If course it seemed much longer than that to me and it took me about that much time to figure it out. I could focus our walk quite right, but after a few seconds I realized my left eye wasn't moving, it was just fixed in place.

It wore off but honestly kind of scared me. The pain was bad but the frozen eye was terrifying.

Is possible I was just dizzy, but my memory is that when I got my right eye to look where the left eye was, then I could focus.

Anyway, they hurt like crazy and really are more scary than a sprain or break.
