Ha, that is pretty close to how it worked in my family . . .
We had 4 tickets. My dad and mom went to each game so that left 2 tickets to 6 games for us 4 siblings.
My dad would have us rank the games in order of our own importance and then he would determine who went to which games based on those rankings. I had two sisters that didn’t care as much for the games nor did they understand who was who in the college football world so once the previous season ended I would start talking up the teams I wanted to see least the next season (UNM, UTEP, WYO, CSU) so my sisters would think those were the important games. Thus they would rank those poor teams first and I would get the games I wanted. I went to all the Utah, SDSU, AFA games as well as all the OOC big teams like Miami, Penn St., Wash St., UCLA, Notre Dame, Texas, Oregon.
Occasionally my mom would not go and I’d get a bonus game.
