Chad Lewis spoke at a ASD coaches conference today...He said something that made
rethink about how I feel about Kalani. Chad was in the locker room after the tough loss to the yewts in Kalani's first year as head coach. If you recall, Kalani chose to go for two and lost the game. It was a gutsy call but it devastated the player and coaches on the team. They so wanted to win that game. Behind closed doors Kalani said to his players (Paraphrased based on Chad's rendition): "Do what you need to do here in the locker room but when you walk out feel free to smile and laugh with your friends and family." If that isn't a good coach with his head on straight, then I don't know a coach out there who is.
