I watched some UW film and here is what I saw
On some of the big plays made against them on both offense and defense, you could almost see our personnel in the players making those plays. I saw that at times they manned their center up when facing an odd front, if they try this against BYU, Tonga is going to destroy whatever they are trying to do. They have no answer for the read option and if BYU went RO or RPO exclusively, it would be very frustrating for the UW defense and they would have to commit more players to the box and open themselves up on the back end.

BYU will need to be very sound in tackling. If BYU doesn't miss a ton of tackles, this will be a good game for our D. Their QB looked way better against Hawaii and Eastern Washington and less against Cal. BYU is more like Cal talent-wise. They have a RB that is very slippery, but if he takes a solid hit, he could be in trouble.

There is no doubt Washington is the more established name, and they have talent like Utah, but they haven't played on the road, at altitude or on grass this year. All 3 of those things give BYU an advantage.

I am not going all out and predicting a win or anything, but if BYU comes out and plays loose, clean, and hard...it will be in the game late just like the last two weeks.
