If all you're hiring are talking heads - make them smooth, deep voiced talking
heads that sound like Musburger.
For game announcers and color commentators, playing/coaching should be a requirement. Is Holtz tough to listen to sometimes? Sure. Get the guy some dentures that fit - but he knows the game and usually has good things to say.
