The point isnt just to blitz, its about confusing a qb, hitting them, disrupting them. Telegraphing a blitz isnt really any better in my mind than just simply rushing 3 — either way the QB knows presnap what to do.

I’d add sloppy elementary plays. Ones a coach can’t teach, but are instincts.

Which is still Tuiakis fault. If a single blitz means TD, he's doing little to no coaching.

Yeah because we showed the blitz for about 20 seconds before the play. He's just in over his head.

UGH.... he blitzed a fair amount, got burned for a TD... he played several different fronts... didn't work

I agree with this completely, but because of the lack of talent you have to disguise, confuse and blitz early and often
