I have had a professional goal for about 3 years now and feel like it would be so great for me and my family. It hasn't panned out yet, despite tons of opportunities and me doing all I can.

I had that same realization going into this school year (I'm a teacher): I can't change the result of those opportunities, but I can be the best dang teacher I can be, and I'll put the rest to God.

And couldnt agree more about the byu comp: I'm realizing at my ripe old age of 30 that I can still be a crazy fan that bleeds blue, but after games like yesterday I can look for the good and the progress (which I still saw a lot of despite the score) and be excited for where the team is going.

On a few levels, I'm really glad i saw this post. Good luck on your endeavors, and i hope for you, me and byu it all works out for us.
