The difference is that with a P5 schedule, we'd be playing other P5 schools

that are playing a P5 schedule. Up to our games with them, Tennessee, USC and Washington hadn't played a P5 schedule. It would be different if we played these guys the last 4 games of the season instead of the first four games of the season because they would also be in the midst of playing in their own P5 schedule.

The issue BYU has is that we have to play a p-5 schedule when the P-5 teams are playing a G5 schedule.
