If you like mediocre football, sure. I for one do not. I believe there is a
better coach out there for the Y. Sitake's average ranking in his first 3.25 seasons is 65th, right dead in the middle of college football's 130 teams. We have WAY more resources than many teams above us, so 65th is not acceptable.
Bronco's average ranking was 34th in the MWC and 35th as an independent, 30 spots higher. Two sites that I check often provide rankings for all teams: sports reference and team rankings.
The last coach to lead us to near 500 ball lost his job after 4 seasons. Crowton was 26-23, not far off from where Sitake will end up after this year. He was a very likeable guy as well.
