My issue would be rewarding a drive that stalls at the 40 more than one that
stalls in the red zone.
How about this. You get 3 points for a field goal from where you are on the field. 1 additional point for every 15 yards you choose to push your attempt back.
Example: you are at the 8 yard line you elect to kick it from there, so a 25 yard field goal: 3 points, you push it to a 40 yard attempt: 4 points, 55 yard attempt: 5 points.
