He has looked great in practice. Especially when he ran the 1s while Zach was recovering from shoulder surgery.
Good decision making. Good arm strength. Good accuracy. Obviously mobile, but he would stand in and deliver throws (though no one was going to light him up in practice).
Practice performance has to be taken with a grain of salt, but he doesn’t strike me as the kind of guy who is a practice hero and falls apart under pressure. I’m pretty optimistic about him. Honestly I felt ok about him starting for us if Zach wasn’t ready at the beginning of the season.
