Here's another way to look at it....
He was telling people it was for YouTube and showing them the cameraman as a way of legitimizing what he was doing. Every single person was initially very skeptical of what he was doing. I know I definitely would have reacted the same way. As soon as he told them it was for YouTube, every person immediately lowered their defenses and expressed their gratitude to him.

The guy literally gave people thousands of dollars of his own money to people in need with no strings attached. His following on YouTube allows him to do that. He has other videos where he does similar acts of charity. If the platform allows him to continue to do that, I say more power to him.

There are different ways for people to go about performing acts of charity. I definitely won't question a guy for doing something like this when I've never come close to doing anything like this for someone in my life.
