You’ll need to ask Liberty and their evangelical friends this question, but I
think we can safely assume that the purpose of the course isn’t to teach students that Mormonism is a religion.
And I’m pretty sure that Liberty doesn’t offer courses titled “The Southern Baptist Church is a Cult”, “Catholicism is a Cult”, “Evangelicals Belong to a Cult”, or “Protestantism is a Cult”.
