Are you arguing that over the course of 19 seasons the average P5 team has
Played a stronger P5 schedule than BYU? Hard to imagine there would be such a drastic difference over 19 seasons to make this stat meaningless. The same logic you are applying to BYU would apply to all P5’s (who would play their P5 opponents in both up and down seasons over 19 years) and thus make this stat useful. Not the whole story, but useful.
