We already see this with the big boys pulling their content off apps like Netflix to start their own streaming service. It will get even more difficult to find a one stop shop for a family.

My wants, thankfully, are much easier than yours. I only want sports which is basically all BYU games, and Jazz games on TNT (seem to be the only ones that don't get blacked out).

I've done PSVue before, doing Sling now. I watch nothing else though from this subscription, and I don't care about a DVR. In addition I have an excellent OTA antenna, and a Netflix sub.
