I bought it when the recall units were hitting the market again...
but I didn't go with one of the TDIs that had been through the recall. Because of the diesel issue all of the VWs and Audis, diesel or gas, were down in pricing. I was close to buying a TDI but found a gasoline S-Line Prestige that was really low miles and was a bit cleaner for a bit less.
