Yeah, I did the stupid thing and joined after grad school. But getting both
Degrees from BYU it didn't matter as much. Still get awesome benefits and can go do another degree if I get out or stay in and possibly get another degree and keep the GI Bill

If you can get into a service academy or a ROTC scholarship it's one of the best routes you can take.

Great stability and benefits. Can be a great career or you can always get out and do the reserves and get healthcare paid for at 65. And if you don't like it, 4 years is not a bad commitment. And you're out, often with better work experience than your peers and the ability to go to any yellow ribbon grad school.
