Utah, not even close. Washington not even close. SC we were fortunate for sure that they're young, and coaching actually helped win that game IMO. Last year, USU had more talent, especially at the skill positions. I got to sit right behind the Ute bench this year, and was amazed at the size of their OL/DL. Our DL look big but fat, they're DL look tall, lean and athletic-I for sure thought there was a talent gap. No question there's a talent gap and compounded when there's gaps with the coaching.
But I agree, BYU needs to make it easier for athletes to come in and thrive, they already have so many struggles to deal with.
