Let’s say a very qualified coach, with a great track record for developing young men and a winning culture applies for the job. And the only reason we don’t hire him is because he is not LDS.
How is this any different that what the PAC12 is doing to BYU? Many believe BYU is very qualified to join the PAC12, huge fan base, successful sports programs, history of winning, great facilities and bring value. But the only reason we are not admitted is because we are an LDS sponsored institution.
Seems like we are being a little hypocritical requiring the head coach to be LDS.
