I'm glad older grades are earlier; my high school kid sometimes needs to be home
with the elementary kids for a bit before my wife gets home from work.
If elementary school started first, that wouldn't work. That may be part of the thought process of why older kids start earlier. I know we're not the only ones that rely on this.

I wonder how the church handles early morning seminary with the time change. With a later school start, some teachers
