the church with facial hair. I am pretty sure parents have let their child be in a room alone with another child (let's say college age). I am pretty sure members are not booted out of the church for breaking the word of wisdom or even having pre-marital sex, although on that one I think they should be.

Quite frankly, BYU does not represent church membership. At least not to me and many others I know.
