That said- it is no excuse. BYU should be winning games against Toledo and USF
with anyone currently on the roster.
Good hades - USF’s QB would likely lose his starting job to no less than 5 starting high school qbs in Vegas right now. He was awful. 7-14 for 78 yards- most of the yards coming on one play where the guy was WIDE open and still had to make a spectacular diving catch. No excuse losing to a team with such atrocious qb play.
