if X is greater than the value of your time and frustration selling it yourself, then sell it yourself.  If X is less than the value of your time and frustration selling it yourself, then use CarMax or sell it to a dealer.  Pretty simple.

To me, the X has never been greater than the value of my time or the frustration of putting up with every tire kicker who wants me to sell it to them below wholesale.
