That one is still debatable in my book.
Tom is in between a rock and a hard place with scheduling.
He'll never be able to make a balanced schedule. That is nearly impossible to do in independence. He also needs to book high profile opponents for the sake of tv contracts, recruiting, and attendance. But he's also putting together schedules that are likely too tough for BYU to handle given its circumstances and standing in the football world.
Independence is his baby. He's the one have to live the pros and cons of it.
