anything in the church's doctrine ANYWHERE, would cause BYU to cease being BYU.... you guys are basically saying BYU and the church stand for nitpicky law of moses type stuff. Which I'm pretty sure is the opposite of what the new testament says.

BYU would cease to be BYU if they allowed beards and allowed a head coach who isn't of our faith but would be willing to uphold our standards? If those kinds of restrictions are what "make BYU" then yes, I hope that "BYU" ceases to exist.
