For the Strength of Youth used to explicitly say refrain from watching rated R
movies. It not longer contains such language since it was updated some years ago. Part of it has to do with rating systems in other countries are different, and also it means that while some rated R movies are deemed okay by many members of the church, there will be some PG-13 rated movies that are inappropriate as well.

And I personally don’t get too offended by cursing. If it’s over the top and every other sentence is profane, then I’d prefer not to watch. But a few curses here and there don’t really bother me. When it comes to the F word, there is a big difference IMO between using it as a simple expletive versus using it as a verb when references sex.
