he let everyone know how disgusted he was with the coaching decisions, the tackling, and pretty much everything through the whole game and finally, to his credit, was excited when the Cougs closed it out at the very end. If he was having fun, I have no idea how, but he seemed on a path to die early, despite no coffee or alcohol.

It was absolutely hilarious to me. He probably thought he was being realistic, but he was anything but. He was just a whiff of bad breath that we had the pleasure to be around for the game. We did make sure about beginning of Q2 to drown out the incessant whining with our loud cheers and encouragement of "No Worries! Let's go Cougs!" when things like the wide open tight end or out-of-bounds wide reciever touchdown happened.

I get it, fans are not going to change. The herd mentality is not going to change. Your happiness was stolen from you cuz the 2nd/3rd string quarterback couldn't close the deal (though they came close) against an average squads with comparable athletes (both Toledo and SFU). And Kalani was never a D1 coach before, and man what if Ty Detmer wasn't the problem? And how much it sucks to have Utah and USU and BSU be so much better than BYU right now and It's NEVER GONNA CHANGE. You just gotta be ticked off and let everyone know.

Why doom yourself to constant agony for something you have no control over?

I'm ok to give the benefit of the doubt to the team I cheer for. They have played week-in and week-out schedule that would result in multiple losses for many FBS teams. Injured quarterbacks is a huge setback for pretty much any team with mostly 2 and 3 star recruits.

I'm also ok to laugh at people that take themselves, and their opinions way too seriously. Even my own. Lighten up. BYU's program is not on life support. Most everyone I know will still watch the games and live their life regardless of the outcome.
