I would second Jungle Jim’s as a fun way to spend a few hours.
Depending on the age of kids the Newport aquarium is also a good attraction and it’s right in downtown Cincinnati.
Also Montgomery inn is good but a little pricey, If you like ribs I’d recommend Eli’s bbq down the road.
Findlay Market is a good spot to spend a few hours on a Saturday morning.
