If you switch coaching staffs and keep the players the same,
Would Utah still be 5-1?
Would BYU still be 2-4?
If I had to place a bet on that, I would say that BYU picks up at least 1 more win and Utah picks up at least 1 more loss.
Utah may have better talent (or at least greater depth at a minimum), but there is a major gain in coaching as well.
How many delay of game penalties has Utah had in the 1st play of the game? If that isn’t a red flag, I don’t know what is.
