If Jaren ends up winning the starting QB spot during the bye week leading up to USU, then so be it. I like the idea of staggering QB eligibility by RSing Baylor by not playing him in more than 4 games. He’s shown enough upside where I’d like him to be at byu as long into the future as possible.

Wilson would be a junior next year
Jaren would be a sophomore
Baylor would be a freshmen

That spreads things out nicely and gives BYUs future options since we don’t know how good the QBs on missions will be when they return.
