We’ve aspired to more than .500 and bottom-half FBS finishes
For a very long time. It’s great to pick up some big wins, but even after Boise St, we are ranked #69.
It’s difficult to recover from losing to really bad teams—we would’ve had a chance at a 10-win top 25 season if we simply took care of business that teams like bowling green and ball state had a easy time doing.
Don’t lower the bar so quick to say that our current results are fine. We’ve been better and aspired to more for several decades.
Fans are still showing up for historically low results— it’s up to Kalani now to show up.
