My cousin Neal died this past Tuesday. He was only 44 years old. Because of the age gap, we weren't exactly close, but his family lived next to mine growing up so when I was younger, we spent a fair amount of time together. Neal served his mission in Japan and when I got called there, he was beyond ecstatic for me. Neal loved BYU sports and for the last couple years volunteered taking the official stats for the football and basketball teams. The last time we hung out was getting lunch before a BYU football game at JDawgs with some of our other cousins a few years back. Take a minute to reach out to a family member or friend you haven't talked to in a while. I wish I had another chance to chat about BYU with him. You'll be missed, Neal.
