moving here, but it was really nice. The "backcountry" area is small relative to what I grew up with (Uintas, etc.), but you could still get a pretty good feeling of isolation. Largely due to cooler weather we didn't see anyone else on the trail. I'm having to adjust my expectations for camping, but this place turned out to be a good option.

My kids don't know it yet, but they are getting backpacks for Christmas. We'll start doing more of it once the weather warms up next spring. This weekend was a good reminder of the quality of the experience.
