have apparently made their preferred inroads to our modest home is in the bedroom of the 9 year old daughter. I just spent the last 45 minutes (an hour after her bedtime) clearing out the channels on either side of her window panes, because she's called me in to dispose of one or two every few nights the last couple weeks, and enough was enough. There had to have been 40 of the freaking things hiding out in the grooves. And the last thing you want to do is crush one, unless you want the whole room to reek. So I'm gingerly prodding them into dixie cups and flushing them once I've corralled a big enough batch.

But, I've got the screen pinned tightly against the window frame, and the grooves cleared out of them, so that SHOULD at least deter all but the most ambitious little turds.
