I'm not quite sure why there was such a price jump in value (it started going for $250 on the secondary market the moment it was released.) When it was originally released it received good reviews but nobody would put it on the same level as the Pappy Van W, Sazerac and other aged ryes of that level.

Found a 750ml bottle here for $899 ($1,200 w/tax.)
