Kalani's teams have shown a propensity to NOT handle success well. He even mentioned in his post game comments that he wants to manufacture being in "the pinch" because the team responds well to that situation. It is hard to keep that intensity over time.

I am not saying they have to win the game against USU. BUT, they need to play well and be competitive. They cannot come out and lay an egg like they did the last two years.

I hope someone is impressing on these college kids (AND THE COACHES) that USU is thirsting, not to just beat them, but to humiliate them. They have 40+ years of bitterness brewing inside and if BYU comes out and plays with anything less than 100% focus, preparation, intensity, and grit, then the USU team and their fans will be mocking, crowing, and doing all manner of rude and lascivious behavior towards the team and the fans. IT WOULD SUCK and it could likely mean the end of Kalani's career at BYU. Win and BYU likely gives Kalani the extension.
