I'm not sure why people are getting hot and bothered by it. Root beer is fine. I like root beer. I don't have any issues with root beer. LDS guys love root beer at a much higher rate than the general population. The OP brought up a last meal post and said he would drink root beer. I chuckled at that statement as it fits the stereotype I have in my head of so many of my friends. It's not a negative post.
